This model design is fairly old. I think I may have been about 11 years old when I first built it. Since then, the model has been built in LDraw, converted with L3P, and rendered in POV-RAY. -
Drive-train: Six wheel drive powered by a mid-engine,
turbocharged diesel. -
Suspension: -
Crew:
Two (Driver and Weapons Specialist/Navigator) -
Armament: -
Two short range missiles mounted externally on either side of the tank. -
One medium range ballistic missile housed internally in the aft. -
One side mounted pulse cannon. -
Purpose:
The Mk1's primary goal is to act as a fast attack and scout vehicle. With
the exception of the ballistic missile, the weapons carried on the Mk1 are purely defensive. The ballistic missile gives the tank the added ability to deploy a destructive payload on a target, if necessary. The Mk1 does not have the armament or armor to withstand a long or drawn out battle. The Mk1 excels at quick deployment over varied terrain.
